We like a different group to organise the making and serving of the coffee and tea each month and Ian has taken on the job of putting together the rota. Real coffee is on offer as is the opportunity to catch up with friends and recent developments and planned events. Non-members can attend and join at the coffee morning. See you there!

Members who take a turn on the “Welcomers Reception Table” provide a valuable service with a smiling, helpful welcome when folks come to the Coffee Morning to find out more about u3a. Following the retirement of Shirley, we need new volunteers to take a turn on the roster. Have a word with a Committee member or one of the Welcomers to find out more.
Members enjoy our coffee mornings. It’s a good time to catch up with friends and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea together.
It can be very daunting though for someone walking through that door for the first time, faced with a room full of strangers. We are there to recognise newcomers greet them with a smile, make them feel at home and answer any questions.
If there is something of real interest, we will introduce them to the group leader or someone who belongs to the group.
