Joining u3a

If you are interested in joining Bridgwater and District u3a, you just need to complete the Application for Membership Form. 

Exceptionally, membership forms are available at Coffee Mornings or from the Membership Secretaries Maggie Inskip and Mike Inskip , who can be contacted at membership@bwu3a.org. Please inform Bridgwater u3a at membership@bwu3a.org if you stop paying tax and have registered as gift aid or change your address.  

Most of the groups will offer a taster session so you can try out an activity without joining u3a.  Prospective members may attend a group twice after which they must join the Bridgwater and District u3a for which there is an annual subscription of £12.5 for a new u3a member (£3.50 goes to the Third Age Trust partly to insure members against Public and Product Liability and to provide guidance).  The subscription is £9.00 if your prime membership is with another u3a. Payment details are included on the application form and  subscriptions are due in May.

Bridgwater is part of the South West Region which supports many local u3a's
