The Chair and Committee are organizing the annual Group Leaders Lunch for 6 September 2023 and invitations will also be sent to members who provide important back up in various ways to help the smooth running of our u3a.
“WELCOMERS”
Members who take a turn on the “Welcomers Reception Table” provide a valuable service with a smiling, helpful welcome when folks come to the Coffee Morning to find out more about u3a. Following the retirement of Shirley, we need new volunteers to take a turn on the roster. Have a word with a Committee member or one of the Welcomers to find out more.
u3a WEEK
This is a national initiative to raise the profile of u3a UK wide and, as our Coffee Morning falls within the week allocated for the event on Wednesday 20th September, the Committee have decided to focus efforts at that event so bunting and balloons will be the order of the day !

u3a is a charity providing the opportunity for those not in full-time employment to come together and learn for fun. Bridgwater u3a is one of over a thousand local groups across the UK.

Joining u3a
If you are interested in joining Bridgwater u3a either as a new member or in addition to your membership of another u3a, please visit our joining page. You can attend up to two group taster sessions before you need to formally join the u3a.
Coffee Morning
A coffee morning is held on the third Wednesday of the month at 10am in the Function Rooms at the Masonic Hall in Bridgwater. New and Existing members are welcome to attend.
